Below are some steps to songwriting that always get me results….
Step 1 - Spend half an hour listening to some great music
Step 2 - Find the chords, playing and singing some of this great music
Step 3 – Take your recorder and brain vomit all your ideas on tape for 1 hour
Step 4 – Get your pen and paper and listen though, writing up good chord ideas and lyrics
Step 5 – Have a day off
Step 6 – Now form your ideas into the final songs
Just six simple songwriting tips, they key thing is not to make it harder than it is. Songwriting should be fun!
