There are a couple of Pro Tools tips that I wish someone had told me right of the bat when I began using the software, so it seems only right that I also share them with you.
The first tip would be to literally force yourself to use all the keyboard shortcuts. I was in a session recently with quite a good producer but he was messing about with the mouse ever time he wanted to get something done. You can save many hours doing things the right way at the start.
The second quick Pro Tools tip would be to bounce all your midi tracks to audio when you happy with them. This will keep your session running smoothly if you low on ram.
