Here is my short list of essential home studio equipments:
Laptop computer – To capture all the audio and run your music programs
Software – Pro Tools or logic
Nice Microphone – Use a Studio Projects B1 Mic
Instruments – Guitars, Bass, Drum and Keyboards etc
Singer – Find someone who can hold a tune so you don’t have to mess about with vocal correction software
FX – Compression, reverb, EQ, limiters and delay at the very least
High quality speakers – Buy the best you can find or you mix won’t be well represented
CD Burner – Once your masterpiece is complete you going to want to burn it down to a CD and show the world
