There are a few home recording essentials budding home producer must have to get started:

Songs – without something to record you’re not going to get very far!

Computer – you can use any PC or Mac from the last couple of years, the more ram the better to run plug-ins.

Software – if there’s one essential piece of recording software it’s got to be pro tools, the learning curve is high but the sound it amazing.

Midi controller – so that you don’t have to use any real instruments if you don’t want to, you can make any sound with a midi controller and virtual instruments.

Mic – buy a Studio Projects B1 condenser microphone for all your vocals.
