Digidesign’s pro tools is my absolute favorite sound editing and recording software, as long time readers of this blog will know.

Pro tools is the industry standard for all the top studios around the world, but in recent years they have made all different versions available at a price range that makes it a viable option for home producers as well.

Make no mistake, the learning curve with pro tools is very cruel and your first attempts will sound very poor! But once you have mastered all the knobs and dials there is simply nothing else on the market that gives you the power over your tracks like Digidesign’s product.
