For me the best music mastering software out there has to be Pro Tools, I know that you may be more used to thinking of Pro Tools in terms of a mixing and editing package but after you have bounced your mix to a single stereo file the best option is to save the money you would have spent on other mastering software and invest in good compression, limiter and EQ plug-ins right in the pro tools interface.
You can also master the whole album in the one session making it much easier to get an overall feel and volume of the album making the mastering process slicker.
